"Outside Door"

The International Sphinx festival, as precursor for the upcoming 2020 social sculpture festival entitled "Antigone - Limits and Borders" which will analyze the limits of freedom of expression under confinement and isolation conditions, presents the exhibition "Outside Door".

It is a creative work production by women at the second chance schools of the Eleona prison in Thebes, a program led by the Athens School of Fine Arts. Through which an effort is made by common women under confinement conditions as they discover and unfold a window of expression and self-revelation, which for many of us can remain deeply hidden.

The exhibition will take place at the Conference Center in Thebes from Saturday the 14th until Monday the 16th of December 2019 at 6:00-9:00 pm. After which, the exhibition will be shown at the Athens School of Fine Arts.
