Maria wwas born and raised in Thebes.

She studied Architecture in NTUA, where she specialized in Urban Planning with the her final thesis: "Thebes: the ancient structures as a redesign system of the modern city".

She has a vast interest for philoshopical-theoritical aspects of architecture as a language and artwork, with research on Wittgenstein and the "thinking body" of Merleau-Ponty and synchronous theorists of phenomenology in architecture.

 

"I guess I should know I would be here, since the time I was eight playing mental hopscotch with a sign of Proitides Gates.. 

The sign is not there anymore..

I am working on bringing it back for the 8-year-olds of today and tomorrow."
